Thursday 28th April sees the return of the Therapy Room Comedy Club to the Old School House. Compere Lloyd Griffith introduces Markus Birdman, Stuart Goldsmith & David Whitney.
There’s a lot of quirky charm to Markus Birdman; a man at a slight angle to the universe, to coin a phrase.
He was once self-consciously wacky, but nowadays any zany tendencies are carefully regulated, making for a more straightforward set that benefits from the new focus.
And just as the gags are left-field without being too weird; the delivery is cheery without being too ingratiating.
Markus Birdman
Stuart Goldsmith's infectious banter channels the effortless charisma and quick-fire timing honed over a youth misspent as a street-performer.
Stuart is simply brilliant with anecdotes galore displaying a wonderfully inventive, playful and deeply individual look at sex, sexuality , relationships , and the posher end of the canine world.
Stuart Goldsmith
David’s material is a fine blend of political satire and pure filth, making him the thinking persons comic.
David Whitney
